NWL and Collins divisions will be offered if at least 4 players show up.

Players are grouped into divisions by rating and play a round-robin followed by a king-of-the-hill round. All players will play 6 games. Final standings are determined by win/loss record with cumulative spread as the tiebreaker.

Sounds great, how do I sign up?

Simply show up at the venue between 11:00 and 11:15am to check in with the director and pay the entry fee. If this is your first tournament, email the director (edwardd@gmail.com). Otherwise, no advance registration is required.

I’ve never been to a Scrabble Tournament. What do I need to know?

This event will follow tournament rules sanctioned by NASPA Games, the Scrabble Player Organization we are affiliated with. Here’s a great one-page summary covering the basics.

(thank you, Seattle Scrabble Club!)

If you have never played Scrabble this way, we recommend visiting a local Scrabble club before playing in a tournament. The director can also review the basic rules with you before the tournament.

Do I need to bring anything?

Bring pen and paper to keep track of your score during the games. If you have equipment that is acceptable for tournament play, please bring it with you.

I have more questions…
